There are birthdays, and then there are milestones—and Janet’s 70th was one for the books. We knew we had to do something special for a woman who’s been the heart of our family and the glue of our lives. So, we pulled off a surprise she’d never forget: a tropical getaway to St. Kitts to visit Garrett!
St. Kitts was the perfect backdrop to celebrate a life so fully and beautifully lived. We soaked up every second—beach time, pool lounging, delicious food, tropical drinks, lots of laughs and good conversation.

I recently heard that the secret to being a great Nana is simple: “Just show up.” Janet Shows up. She shows up to all the baseball, all the hockey, all the horses, all the school events. No mater what it is she shows up!
Janet had to put together a puzzle from pieces gathered throughout the day to solve her birthday surprise.
Her first clue was given to her at Maddox's Hockey Game.
