2012 A New Year

I can't believe it is already mid January.  Another holiday season has come and gone.  We had so much fun celebrating with family and friends.  We made it to Zoo Lights (a first for Milo and Mom).  Daddo played in the annual Christmas Eve Hockey Skate and he took Milo out on the ice after everyone was done playing.  Grammy and Grandpa came to Denver to celebrate with the whole Aschermann crew and the Kennedy family.  Scott had to travel the week between Christmas and New Years so Grammy stayed the week with us.  It was so nice to have the company and extra help.  I actually got a lot of rest.  Milo slept until almost 8 am every morning, which is the only week he has ever done that.  He must have known I was on vacation.    Milo rang in the New Year with Nana and Papa (at 8:00pm) while Mama and Daddo celebrated with friends.  Overall we had a wonderful Holiday Season.
Milo has moved into toddler-hood.  He no longer walks, but instead runs.  His favorite activities lately are jumping onto pillows, talking/babbling at very loud levels, playing hockey and mimicking everything we do.  He had three teeth break through the last couple weeks.  His one year molars and another bottom tooth.  He now has nine teeth.  He has had a few colds, but they have not resulted in ear infections or any more visits to the hospital.  The ear tubes and the inhaler seem to be doing the trick.
2011 was a wonderful year for the Aschermanns and we are looking forward to seeing what 2012 brings us!
I was awful about taking photos this last month, but here are a few of the wonderful memories I was able to capture.

The Smith Family hosted Christmas Eve at their house. Here Milo is celebrating with Uncle Garrett and his cousins Joslyn and Connor.

Milo on Christmas Morning with his new work bench from Grammy and Grandpa.  He was too busy playing to get dressed.  Don't you love the hair?  He got a table and wooden blocks from Nana and Papa.  He loves to have snack and color at his new table.

Here he is with his new rocking horse.  Milo was one lucky little boy this Christmas.

One of Milo's new fun activities...
Playing with Cousin Connor....too much fun!!!!

Milo gets to go for a wagon ride with Nana almost every Sunday.  Here he is just chilaxing.
