After we got back from Lake Powell Daddo started a long haul of travel. He went to Saudi Arabia and Australia for work. There are lots of bridges out there that need to be tested and Daddo is just the man to test them. We missed him terribly, but Milo was sure happy when he got a new shirt and some toy animals upon Dad's return. If Dad keeps traveling this much Milo is going to have a fabulous wardrobe and quite the toy collection. While Dad was gone Milo and Mom went up to Glenwood to visit Grammy and Grandpa. Grandpa is recovering from his double knee surgery. We had a really good time up in the mountains. The colors were beautiful, we had lots of fun playing with Grammy's toy collection and we got lots of tasks checked off of Grandpa's list.
Milo never really kicked the cold he picked up before we headed out to Lake Powell and a couple days after we got back it progressed to a respiratory virus. We ended up in the hospital because he was having to work extra hard to breath. After a short visit, some monitoring and a diagnosis of RSV and asthma we were discharged. We started using an inhaler, a steroid and a nebulizer. He seems to be feeling better, but still has a bit of "crackle" to his breathing. I am skeptical of the diagnosis. Overall he is doing lots better and is still a happy kiddo!
Another big milestone has been reached. Milo is no longer nursing. He gets a bottle of cow's milk in the morning and in the evening and the rest of the day it is sippy cup city. He has gotten so much more graceful in his movements. He can get from his belly to his back to his bottom to pulling up to a standing position. The stairs are still a favorite spot of Milo's. He can go up and down the stairs now. One evening he stood all by himself for about 5 seconds. Once he realized what was going on he decided he was much safer on his bottom. He hasn't braved the dangerous world of standing again. His new favorite toy is the push toy Nana got him. He can push it around the house and practice his walking skills or sit on it and drive around. While driving around makes motoring noises. Milo has recently become a little lover. He gives kisses, waves, blow kisses and snuggles. He loves to play with your hair when he is getting ready to sleep. Luckily, he no longer just yanks at it, but actually gently plays with it. I was told by a coworker that Milo has a really nice energy about him. Though it is a bit cheesy and I don't know exactly what it means I have to say that I agree.

Glad you were able to get away while Scott was gone, it always makes the time go by faster. Milo is awesome, we love all of his new milestones. I am hoping to make to nurse Noah as long as you did, that is great. One of these days our little cousins need to meet!
