Big News! Milo is officially a big boy! Potty Training, check.

It is officially spring and the Aschermann's are ramping up for summer.  Scott has many ideas for the farm and I have many honey-dos at the house.  The one nice thing about a rental is that the honey-do list is much shorter than when we owned.  But, I am still a pregnant woman nesting and that is a lot of work for the hubby.  We are working on getting a schedule set for the hopeful construction of our new house.  This entails a lot of research and planning;  how to drill a new well, septic system sizing, landscape planning, house design (both ideal and realistic options) and a lot more.  We have decided to downsize the garden a bit in hopes to help relieve some of the work.  The high maintenance plants (tomatoes, carrots, peas, etc) are going to be planted in the garden at the house.  This will allow me to work on them while the kiddos are napping.  It will nice to have the garden therapy right out my front door.

This pregnancy was just like my first two, a rough first trimester.  I thought I was turning the corner around week 14, but then I came down with a nasty stomach bug.  I am starting to recover from that and am hopeful I will start feeling human again soon.  The good thing about being sick is that when you start to feel better you really appreciate it.

The big news,  and it is big news….Milo is potty trained…woohoo!  He woke up one Sunday and decided he was ready.  After a handful, okay four handfuls, of accidents the little man did it.  I am so thankful that I won't have 3 in diapers.  Now it's Liesel's turn.  I am hopeful she will be ready (well, that I will be ready) in a few months.  She already sits on the potty frequently.  I do believe she will be much easier than her brother.

Milo is full of it these days!  He is starting to act more like a 4 year old and less like a 3 year old.  I must say I enjoy 4 year olds more.  He has decided that he no longer wants a baby brother, he know wants a sister.  So that "she will play with Liesel".  Scott and I have thrown out a few names, but Milo is set on Baby Teegan.  This is my friends baby's name and Milo loves it.  He has started with phrases like "Fine" and "Whatever" (both accompanied by an eye roll).  I feel like 3 is too young for this.  Maybe he will outgrow it before his teenage years.

Liesel is our little ham.  Her favorite words/phrases right now are:  "Cheese", "Hi Daddy", "Thank you" and "Uh-oh".  She is very animated and full of life.  She continues to love baby dolls and playing in the dirt.  She has mastered putting on her on socks and pants, and is getting pretty good at shirts.  I can't believe how much more independent she is than Milo was at that age.  It must be a second child thing.  She had her 18 month check up and she is 24 lbs.  As I mentioned before she already sits on the potty and frequently pees in it too.  I really should be potty training her, but I only had the energy for one.  Hopefully she will stay interested for another month.  I do believe one of the reasons she has been so interested is because her brother does it and she idolizes him.  Anything he does you better believe she will at least try it.

Aschermann Baby #3. I had to go to the hospital a few weeks to get an IV.  I was having a hard time keeping fluids down.  The good news…baby is perfect and we got an extra photo session.  You can kind of make out a real baby this time.

Munching on some ice cream.

Playing with the train the Smith's got Milo when he was 1.  I love it when they play together.

Liesel dressed herself.  She looks like a bag lady. Correction:  A cute bag lady

Story time.

I went in one night to check on Milo and this is what I found.  "He was doing his work".

My little artist.  Pretty good for a three year old!

Again, saying "Cheese"
