Thanksgiving 2012

I can't believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone.  It is officially the holiday season and I am feeling blessed.  I have two beautiful healthy kiddos, one awesome husband, a great dog and wonderful family and friends.  We went up to Glenwood for Thanksgiving.  Milo had a ball playing with his cousins and Liesel enjoyed a lot of lap time.  She even got to meet her Uncle Robert.  We tried to have the three "older" kids (Connor 3, Milo 2 and Joslyn 18 mos.)  share a room. We put them down at 8:00pm and when Uncle Brendan went to check on them at 9:30 they were all three laying in the turtle tent, giggling.  Though it was a lot of fun, sleeping was not high on the list so Milo ended up in our room.  So Milo, Liesel, Bosco, Mom and Dad all shared one room.  It was very cozy 😊.  Hopefully next time the sleeping will be as much of a success as the giggling.

Halloween and Birthday Fun

The last week was a VERY busy one!  We welcomed our new baby girl to the family, Milo turned 2, we celebrated Halloween and Daddy turned 31!

Milo and Sloane went trick or treating.

Milo, where did you go?

Hello little Dragon!

Milo turned 2 on October 30th, one day after little Liesel was born.  We did have a little celebration in the hospital and had a joint party for him and Daddy on Scott's birthday, November 7th.  I can't believe Milo is already two.  It feels like only yesterday that I was in the hospital welcoming him into the world.  He is so much fun and I absolutely love being his Mom.  He has a great imagination, is full of energy and is becoming a wonderful big brother!  We love him so much and can't imagine our live without him!

Milo got an awesome tractor swing from Grammy and Grandpa!

Liesel Mary Aschermann

We are thrilled to welcome our baby girl, Liesel Mary, to our family.  YES, I said GIRL!  She was born October 29th 2012 at 7:23pm.  She weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 20.5 inches long.  I had my 40 week doctors appointment last Monday and the doctor measured me at 6 cm and 70% effaced.  They decided it was best that I go to the hospital.  After a couple of hours without regular contractions or any progress they broke my water and the real show began.  I got an epidural and within a couple of hours I was ready to push.  Two contractions and five pushes later we met our little girl.  My parents, Scott's Mom, Aunt Miranda, Aunt Candace and Milo were all in the waiting room.  I heard a huge cheer just after Scott announced our arrival!!!!  We are terribly in love with her.  She is a mellow, sweet baby and her nursing rivals her brothers.  I think we may have another chubikins on our hands.  Milo is doing well with her.  He went through denial (ignored her for a few days) then he couldn't get enough of her and now I think he has accepted that she isn't going anywhere.  He is a little more needy than usual, but I have plenty of cuddles to go around for both my babies...and my hubby :).
