Snow Season

I am starting to see a crummy pattern in my blogging…only about once a month.  I guess life with a one year is a bit hectic and trying to find time to sit down at my computer is not an easy thing to do.  He is napping now so I thought I better take advantage.  Scott is currently out of town.  He is in Saskatoon, Canada where it is a balmy -20 degrees.   He has started to write Milo letters while he is on the road.  They are great and we have enjoyed reading them before bed. We have really missed Daddo this trip.  Milo has been a bit needy the last couple of weeks.  He is working on his one-year molars and has needed a lot of cuddle time.  I am thrilled to provide the cuddling any time between 7 am to 8 pm, but am having a hard time with the 5 am cuddle calls.   After a week of waking up between 5 and 5:30 I decided to go to bed at 9:30 last night.  The little man slept until 8 this morning.  I got 10 hours of sleep and am ready for whatever the week has in store.

Milo is officially a walker.  He rarely crawls anymore and is even standing up on his own in the middle of the room.  He has a whole new bag of tricks.  He will show you where your nose is, where his tongue is and when asked to think about it he points to the side of his head.  Nana thinks he should be the next E-trade baby!  He has a new found love….SNOW!  The little boy can’t get enough.  I am glad he is a Colorado Baby.

We are excited for Christmas.  Grammy and Grandpa are going to travel to Denver and celebrate with us.  I can’t believe that Christmas is one week from today.

Since Daddo wasn't around I thought I might take Milo to my work Christmas party and then I decided probably not a good idea.

Thanksgiving 2011

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Thompson Family in Glenwood.  Uncle Robert even made it.  I always thought my parents had a big house, but it felt snugger than ever with the count up to 7 adults and 3 kids.  We really did have a lot of fun.  Milo and Connor started to play together and it made me so excited for the future.  I am so enjoying watching these kids grow up.
