As most of you know this is a busy time of year in the
Aschermann household. Let me count
the celebrations: Liesel’s
Birthday 10/29 , Milo’s Birthday10/30, Maddox Birthday 11/4, and Scott’s
Birthday 11/7, throw in Halloween and this family is maxed out on parties,
sugar, gifts, and craziness.
Milo at 6 you are great! So far at least, it has only been 4 days, but a great 4
days! You have become quite the
helper especially in the mornings.
You dress yourself, do your inhaler, brush your teeth and you recently
started to make your own breakfast.
You know how to operate the toaster so toast or frozen waffles are you
go to choice. You have recently
started getting an allowance. Once
a week you get $2, one of which you can spend, one you have to put in your
piggy bank. You are saving up to
buy a power ranger gun. Your jobs
include making your bed and taking out the recycle. You love school, especially your teacher Ms. Boyer. I am pretty sure you have a little
crush on her. Nothing like a
pretty lady to get a little boy to learn how to read and count. We are 1/3 of our way through your
kindergarten year and you have learned so much. You are a “half-dayer”, as you call it. You love school! Currently you want to be a scientist. You got a scientist kit for your
birthday and are learning all kinds of fun new things. You love legos, transformers, star wars (even though you
have never seen it), ninjas, and hockey!
You started playing for the Arvada Hockey Association and you LOVE
it. We went and watched your first
Avalanche game last week and you were so enthralled. You watched the whole game and asked all kinds of questions
so that you could better understand the game. Of my three kids you are the most ticklish and you have the
best belly laugh ever! You are a
great kid, a great big brother, and over all a great human being. Dad and I love you so much!
Liesel, Wheezy, the Weasel, You’re 4! How did that happen? You are a little girl that loves
horses, unicorns, princesses, your brothers, and sweets. All three of our kiddos have great
imaginations, but yours, my dear, is amazing! You always come up with the best role-play games for you and
your brothers. You are often
pretending to be a horse, a mommy, a baby sister, a tiger, and all sorts of
other characters. I love listening
to you play! You are our first kid
to get stitches. You got 13
stitches in your leg last month. You are not keen on being potty trained. Your little world is a crazy these
days: moving, new daycare, and new school. I am pretty sure you are refusing to use the potty because
it is the one thing that you have control over. You are a girl who likes to be in control. People often tell me how much you look
like me. I have to be honest, I
don’t see myself in you, I just see Liesel. But I do find this to be a great compliment as you are a
beautiful little girl. You love
singing and dancing. Your favorite
songs right now are “Puff the Magic Dragon” and the theme song from
Zootopia. You love preschool most
of the time. You have started to complain about a
little boy being mean to you at school.
I have full confidence that the teachers are handling the situation, but
if they aren’t I know you will. You are a natural leader, remember to be kind,
inclusive, and most importantly be you. You still don’t use “s” at the beginning of
words: swing = wing, swimming =
wimming, school=cool. It’s one of the
things that remind me that no matter how big your personality is, your are
still little. You often will announce out of the blue that you love us. I love that! You love to be
carried and often sneak into my bed in the morning for extra snuggles. You are stuck between wanting to be big
like Mo and wanting to be loved on like a little girl. I’ll tell you what, you are our one and only little girl
and we will always love on you.
Maddox you are officially going to be 2 tomorrow! You are adorable, funny, happy, rowdy,
and all things a 2-year-old little boy should be. Your two favorite things in the whole world are Milo and
Liesel. You are happy as long as
you get to do the same thing they are doing. You say Mo clear as day and you are working extra hard on
Liesel. Currently you just kind of
lisp your way through her name. It
is a hard one. Generally speaking
you only say the first syllable of every word you try to say. Like my other two, you are a late
bloomer when it comes to talking, but you understand everything. You love to color (mostly with markers
even though they are a mess), read books, wrestle run, and putting on massive
amounts of Chap Stick.
You are a very clumsy little boy, but tough as nails. You have eczema on your soft little
skin and you love putting cream on.
You sleep in the same room with your brother and sister and are usually
the last one to fall asleep. You
have a serious pacifier problem.
You would have your “BABA” in your mouth 24-7 if I let you. Sometimes on lazy mornings I let you
have your way and you walk around proud as can be with 5-6 pacifiers, testing
each one, giddy as can be. You
have adorable gappy teeth like your big brother did at your age. You can whistle. You are the biggest jokester of the three
kids. You love teasing. You will refuse to give hugs good-bye
and just as I am getting ready to leave you will laugh and run after me for a
hug and kiss. You have great fine motor skills just like your big brother and
sister did at your age. You are the
best snuggler. You climb up and
give great big hugs and place you head on my shoulder. You are going through a major mommy
phase right now and I have to admit I don’t mind one bit! We can’t wait to see where you go and
who you become. Love you sooooo
much!
Bedtime with these three in one room can often be crazy and frustrating, but there is nothing like listening to them giggle from the other room.
It turns out Liesel has "groovy" teeth and had to get them sealed.

So Liesel was very quiet one one morning, too quiet. When I found her it was too late. She had gotten in to vaseline and put it in her hair and her brother's hair. She told me she was making her hair beautiful. I'll tell you what, vaseline is so hard to get out of hair.
Proud girl. How can you stay mad at this face.
