'Tis the Season

December is here and we have started the Christmas Celebrations including Zoo Lights, Gingerbread Decorating, Santa Visits, Milo's School Performance and the not so fun times of shopping malls.  I think I am all done with Christmas shopping and am thankful for having maternity leave over this busy month.  We leave on the 29th for Hawaii so on top of Christmas chores I am busy going through our summer clothes to see what will fit for our trip.  I am amazed at how fast these little tikes are growing.  These clothes fit them four months ago and now they are skin tight.

We are officially in the grove of things and don't remember a life before Maddox.  All three kids are currently healthy and I am wishing for a germ free Christmas.  I would love to make through our Holiday healthy.  This is not an easy task so wish me luck.

Our house design is complete and we are working with our contractor to finish pricing.  We plan on starting construction in April/May and our goal is to be in our house this time next year.  I am so excited for our new house.  I have a feeling 2015 is going to be a crazy one.

Milo and Liesel before Mo's Christmas performance.  Liesel goes very few places without a baby.  Elsa is her doll of choice lately.

Milo's Happy Valley Christmas Performance was adorable.  I can't believe how well they all did

Santa Visits.  Milo was excited to see Santa.  Liesel was skeptical.

Martin/Martin's Christmas Party was at Coors Field.  Very cool.

A great visit with Koby, Candace and all our kiddos.  I am so lucky to have these wonderful ladies in my life from childhood to motherhood.

Maddox is starting to smile.  Melt my heart.

A Mother of 3

The number one question I am asked lately is "How is it being a mother of three?"…Chaotic, Crazy, Messy, Loud, Demanding, Busy, Overwhelming, Awesome, Funny, Wonderful and Terrifying.  There is never a dull moment and I am unbelievably grateful that I have been blessed with three wonderful, healthy kids.  Well, I guess healthy is relative.  Maddox caught his first cold at two weeks old.  That is what you get having a third baby in the fall. One thing older siblings are good at sharing…germs.  He ended up with two ear infections so I am worried he got his brothers ears.  We will see if tubes are in his future.  After three weeks with a cold Maddox is finally starting to sound less congested.  Everyone is currently healthy (knock on wood).  Milo and Liesel had their 4 year and 2 year check ups and are right on track.  Milo did fail his eye exam so glasses will be in his future.  The doctor recommended waiting until he goes to Kindergarten.  Christmas is quickly approaching and we are very busy getting ready for the holidays and our trip to Maui!  So excited.   Scott is currently in England and I am flying solo (with the help of the Aschermanns and my Mom) for the first time with three.  So far it is going better than I had anticipated,  but I am very eager for Saturday night to come and have my second half home for some support.

Get ready for some Maddox overload  I have a lot of Baby Maddox photos in this photo
